Now step up with right leg on the bench and then the left, when you&#8217;re standing on the bench step down with the left leg and then the right. Do 10 &#8211; 12 reps and have a 30 seconds break and then start again but this time with the left leg.</p>

<p>Here are 3 tips to get you started to get rid of fat and for the most of them you don’t even have to leave your home.</p>
<p>1.	Increase your metabolism.</p>
<p>You’ve probably heard it already a few times but this one really can’t stressed out enough. If you want to lose fat increasing your resting metabolic rate (RMR) is vitally important. </p>
<p>The best way to increase your metabolism is by doing anaerobic workouts, full-body multi-joint workouts like weight lifting.  </p>
<p>This is because lean muscle increases your resting metabolic rate compared to other workouts like cardio, treadmills etc. </p>
<p>Full-body multi-joint workouts increase your resting metabolic rate up to 2 days after the workout which makes them the top workouts to increase RMR.</p>
<p>There are a lot of full-body exercises you can do at home, you only need a set of dumbbells and you are ready to go. </p>
<p>Exercises like Dumbbell lunges, One arm dumbbell rows, Overhead barbell or dumbbell presses, One arm swings and the top RMR increasing exercises One arm snatches are really doable at home. </p>
<p>And you only need to do them 3-4 days a week for 45 – 60 minutes a day.</p>
<p>2.	Eating healthy</p>
<p>I highly recommend not to fall into the low-fat or low-carb diets trap. These diets just don’t work, even though some people lose some weight it isn’t the right way to lose it, it’s not naturally. </p>
<p>These diets restricts you from eating one of the 3 important macronutrients your body needs to function properly. </p>
<p>Besides when you lose weight with these diets it’s because you lose lean muscle, and losing lean muscle means a lower resting metabolic rate making it harder to lose weight even though you keep on dieting. </p>
<p>Fats are important for your body and there are even healthy fats that support fat loss in your body.</p>

3.	Motivation and Goals<br />
For a lot of people it’s hard to get started most often because they don’t believe in themselves and what they can achieve. </p>

It has definitely become a high priority on most people’s list to somehow develop a flat stomach with six pack abs. However, if you have found yourself having a hard time losing that extra abdominal fat, there is good news, having extra stomach fat is not always an indication of poor health. Actually, excess belly fat is usually an indication of your body’s tendency to distribute fat unevenly. <p><b>1. Eating a healthy diet is key</b>. You want to make sure you eat a diet that is free of processed foods (chemicals and preservatives) and saturated fats. <p>Lunges are a workout for your entire lower body. They work your buttocks, front, back, and inner thighs. You will want to begin by standing up straight with your feet a few inches apart, with your hands placed lightly on your hips. You will want to tighten your abs without arching your back.</p>
<p>Take a large step forward while you lift your opposite legs heel slightly, while keeping the other half of that foot on the ground. You want to make sure that both knees are pointed forward.</p>
<p>Now, keeping both legs in this position, bend down until your front leg is bent at a 90 degree angle. Your front knee should be directly over your ankle, be careful not to bend it too far, or you could hurt yourself. The goal is to line your pelvis up with the knee of your front leg.</p>
<p>Next, stand back up and follow the same instructions with the other leg.</p>
<p>Repeat this exercise 15 to 20 times every other day. You can increase your repetitions as your legs get stronger.</p>
<p><b>Standing Squats:</b> </p>
<p>This is an exercise that can be done at anytime anywhere. Here’s what you do:</p>
<p>Begin by standing straight up. Place your feet a hips width apart. Your hips, knees, and toes should all form a straight line. Suck in and contract your stomach muscles. </p>
<p>Now, slowly and steadily bend your knees and push your butt out,  while keeping a straight upper body. This action should feel somewhat like sitting down in a chair. The goal is to create as close to a 90 degree angle with your knees, without causing yourself any pain, other than the burn of course! <br />
iii.	Hold the squat for a count of one, then slowly stand back up. While standing back up, make sure to keep your weight on your heels keeping your knees slightly bent, failing to do this could result in damage to your knees or hips. Repeat this exercise 15 to 20 times every other day. You can increase these reps as your body gets stronger.</p>

<p>With this exercise, you will notice that there are no movements done to build muscle, which makes the ab muscle group tighten up in order to get washboard abs.  There are also many other variations that go along with doing planks that also will help to build your core muscle groups.</p>
<p>But don&#8217;t be mistaken, you cannot get washboard abs if you do not also make sure that you are eating the right foods and dieting correctly.  The midsection area of a body has the most fat content and so it must be free of that fat layer in order to see the results of your hard work.</p>

<p>Reverse Curl: Lie flat on the ground have your hands either straight down your side or above your head. Bend your legs at the knees at a 90 degree angle so that your knees are over your hips. Now bring your knees to your chest by using your stomach muscles. Hold and return to the starting position. Repeat. </p>
<p>Bicycle Kick: Get into the same starting position as the reverse curl. Lie on your back and bend your knees at 90 degrees so that your thighs are pointing towards the ceiling. Now push your legs back and forth like you’re riding a bicycle. At the same time rotate your torso by moving your armpit up towards the knee. </p>
<p> Toe Touch: Lie down on your back and extend your legs and arms towards the ceiling. Curl upward and slowly lift your head and shoulders. Try and reach as high as possible with your hands. Hold and return to the starting position. Repeat. </p>
<p>Make sure you do these six pack exercises at home in a consistent routine.  In each ab workout you should do about 2-3 exercises. This should only take about 10 minutes.  Also remember that getting abs isn’t as simple as doing effective exercises. Yes you’ll develop your stomach muscles but  if you don’t reduce your body fat percentage to a low enough level, your abs aren’t going to show.</p>
<p> Therefore I highly recommend you do these six pack exercises at home in combination with a cardio and healthy eating schedule. Don’t groan at this concept because that really is the only path to a healthy six pack. Why don’t most people have six packs and why does it look so good? Because it takes a lot of work. So don’t be lazy, and don’t be like everyone else. Put in the work, and more importantly, enjoy it! Healthy eating doesn’t have to be a chore and neither does cardio. </p>
