Most people always get it wrong when it comes down to flattening your stomach and getting a six pack.

I always get this question from people who know me for years, “how did you lost your stomach fat and how in the world did you get those six pack abs?”

Believe me when they ask this it’s really because I was extremely fat as a matter of fact I was obese.

Your lower abdominal area is the first part of your body where it stores fat, for women it’s the hips and thighs. I will not explain this into detail why this is for now just take my word on it.

If you think when it’s the first place where it stores it also needs to be the first to lose it but that’s not true. It’s really the LAST place where you lose fat.

It’s quite simple it just impossible to “spot reduce” your belly fat, that is training a specific body part to lose the fat on that part in this case your belly. Especially since it’s the last fat on your body to be burned.

This is best done by doing full-body multi-joint workouts like weight lifting.

But don’t think you will get there by doing only some weight lifting, you’ll need to take a look at what you’re eating as well. If your diet is bad you’ll never see results.

You just can’t out-train a lousy diet.

With ab specific exercises you can strengthen your abs and get them really rock hard if done properly, but to really see your abs you need to get a low body-fat percentage only then you will have a visible six pack.

If you don’t get your body-fat percentage as low as possible not even hundreds of daily ab exercises will get them visible.
